For anybody living in a freezing cold climate for what seems like 10 months out of the year, you might as well have some fun right? Well Grab your bar stool.

The fine folks of Ironton Minnesota have started a new tradition to help raise money for the local snowmobile club, by racing bar stools down a small hill. Carmen Cady who is one of the owners of a the Town Tavern decided that this would be a lot of fun and it has really caught on.

According to WCCO-TV the event initially raised about $300 but due to the fact that they had to make all the snow for the track the bar actually took about a $1,500 loss, but I am guessing made up for that in beer sales. :)
