Why Does the Open Here Tab on a Box of Macaroni & Cheese Never Work?

Kraft Macaroni & Cheese is one of my favorite things to eat, but that stupid "open here" tab on the box never works for me, am I doing something wrong?

I can't be the only one who has a problem opening the magically sealed box of mac'n cheese? Everytime I go to open a box it turns into a battle, I swear the box is engineered to keep me from the cheesey goodness inside.

Why can't Kraft invent a better box? Is this some cruel trick that they are playing on us? We basically have cars that can drive themself, but I can't get at my mac'n cheese without a fight?
