Win Northland Idol and You’ll Audition for ‘American Idol’ Producers

WDIO is giving you an opportunity to audition for the American Idol executive producers for the show's relaunch.

The station is holding open auditions at the DECC on Saturday, August 26 from 9 am - 4 pm, but you'll need to register ahead of time as the audition is only open to the first 200 people between the ages of 15-28.

Contestants can sing a capella or bring a guitar or keyboard to play and the performance can be no longer than 90 seconds.

From the group of 200, 6 will be chosen to perform again as a finalist and one will win a "Silver Ticket" and grants them a one on one audition with the American Idol Executive Producers.
