THE COMBINATION OF THE ARCTIC AIR AND STRONG WINDS WILL CAUSE

WIDESPREAD DANGEROUS WIND CHILLS ACROSS NORTHEAST MINNESOTA AND

NORTHWEST WISCONSIN TONIGHT. CONDITIONS WILL IMPROVE BY LATE

THURSDAY MORNING OR EARLY THURSDAY AFTERNOON.

NORTHERN AITKIN-CARLTON/SOUTHERN ST. LOUIS-

INCLUDING THE CITIES OF...INTERNATIONAL FALLS...BIGFORK...

WALKER...GRAND RAPIDS...HILL CITY...DULUTH...CLOQUET

 

* WIND CHILL VALUES...25 TO 40 DEGREES BELOW ZERO THIS EVENING...

THEN 35 TO 45 DEGREES BELOW ZERO AFTER MIDNIGHT. CONDITIONS

WILL GRADUALLY IMPROVE THURSDAY MORNING.

 

* WINDS...NORTHWEST AT 15 TO 25 MPH EARLY THIS EVENING...GRADUALLY

SUBSIDING LATE THIS EVENING...BECOMING 10 TO 20 MPH AROUND

MIDNIGHT. GUSTS OF 25 TO 35 MPH ARE EXPECTED THROUGH EARLY THIS

EVENING. THERE COULD BE STRAY GUSTS TO 40 MPH.

 

* FROSTBITE TIME...FROSTBITE COULD OCCUR IN LESS THAN 10 MINUTES
