A WITC student found the medallion in the schools 44th annual Sno-Week Medallion hunt.

The hunt started on Monday morning with the first clue at 9 am on the MIX 108 morning show and was found within an hour by Amanda Block and her husband Ben.

The medallion was hidden behind a rock underneath the large pine tree at the Superior Public library.

They will get the $500 prize because Amanda is a student of WITC.

According to the press release from WITC, "Amanda and Ben saw the WITC Medallion and thought it was a plaque, indicated WITC donated the tree. WITC did not donate the tree and it was in fact the WITC Medallion from the 44th Annual WITC Medallion Hunt."

Congratulations and enjoy that money!
