Woodchucks Stealing U.S. Flags, In New York Town

According to MSN, residents in the town of Hudson New York were relieved to discover the culprit of 75 missing American Flags….a woodchuck!

Apparently these little rascals were big fans of these flags which started disappearing from a Civil War cemetery before the 4th of July.

Apparently the wood on the flags is a favorite for woodchucks and they carried them off to their burrows. It got so bad that the local police department set up cameras in the cemetery to bust the little thieves. No word on if they were able to get the flags back, and all calls to Punxsutawney Phil were not returned. :)
