Auditor’s Service Center At Miller Hill Mall Closed November 11-15 – Affects Drivers License + Motor Vehicle Services
A temporary closure will affect St. Louis County residents who are looking to use the Auditor's Service Center at the Miller Hill Mall for drivers license or motor vehicle services. County officials are noting that the office will be closed November 11 through November 15 to prep for a systems transition.
During the closure, the Auditor's Service Center will be preparing for the move to the Minnesota Department of Public Safety Drivers and Vehicle Services' new MNDRIVE system; the MNDRIVE system will replace the existing Minnesota Licensing and Registration System (MNLARS) for all motor vehicle transactions.
According to information released by St. Louis County, drivers license and motor vehicle services will not be available during the closure. The secure drop box on the outside of the building site will still be available. Individuals can leave their necessary paperwork and payments by check in the secure drop box, and staff will process the transaction and send items by mail when the Service Center re-opens on November 16. Checks should be made payable to 'St. Louis County Auditor'.
When the service center re-opens to the general public on November 16, clerks will be using the new MNDRIVE system to process titles, registrations, and temporary permits.
