It's been almost a year and a half since 'Star Wars: Episode 7' was announced and over fifteen months since J.J. Abrams became the film's director, but with a December 18, 2015 release date, the film has to begin production shortly if they hope to come out next year. The latest word is the film will commence principle photography in Morocco on May 14.

With the passing of Harold Ramis, we were hoping that it would also put to rest the possibility of a third 'Ghostbusters' film. But Sony announced that they are going forward with 'Ghostbusters 3,' and now director Ivan Reitman has clarified they plan to start within the next year, though he will no longer be on board as the director.

Which may be why there's a rumor that Downey Jr. is trying to pull strings and get both Gibson and Jodie Foster into the Marvel universe, and possibly into 'The Avengers: Age of Ultron.'

But one big title has decided to hold off until 2016: 'Independence Day 2.'

Though it isn't due out until July 2015, it seems that Zack Snyder's 'Batman vs. Superman' (or whatever they eventually call it) has done some shooting, and is now auditioning people for the film. The latest scoop is that the film might feature Dick Grayson, also known as Robin or Nightwing.
