The combination of ax throwing and beer drinking is being combined with hopefully good results for a downtown Duluth business.  Blacklist Artisan Ales has announced that they are bringing ax throwing competition as an entertainment option for their patrons in the next week or two.

According to new reports,  the brewery has installed three ax-throwing lanes to accommodate their customers and they anticipate starting up on May 17.  They also have plans for a formal league to start up later this summer in July.

Never thrown an ax before?  No problem.  Blacklist Artisan Ales says that they will clue you in on the safety, technique, and scoring - so that you're all ready to have some fun.

Blacklist Artisan Ales is located in downtown Duluth at 120 East Superior Street. Click here to visit their website, where they have more information available about ax throwing.  You can also get more details about the sport and competition on the official website of the World Ax Throwing League.
