Duluth Brothers Gear Up For NCAA College Basketball Tournament

Both Anders and Bjorn Broman grew up in Duluth and attended Lakeview Christian Academy will be in the tournament playing for Winthrop University. 

The Winthrop Eagles earned a 13th seed and will be taking on Butler in the College Basketball National Championship. Anders is a a Red-shirt Junior and his brother Bjorn is a sophomore. They both play guard and ready to represent Duluth in the National Tournament.

I got the chance to talk to Lakeview Coach Josh Turnquist who coached Bjorn his senior year and he said:

Bjorn would take anything the defense would throw at him and he would always find a way to score.

It's pretty cool that two Duluthians get a chance in the Big Dance. Hopefully Bjorn makes a few threes, because this year Winthrop is 27-8 when he makes at least one. Good luck Eagles!
