13 Popular Food Items Now Gone Forever From Minnesota Stores

They say that all good things must come to an end and as sad as that is, it's true. Whether it's a vacation, time with friends, or even a fun stage in life, we've learned to thoroughly enjoy them while we can.

The same can also be true with the food we love. Years ago, one of my favorite treats was Winter Chex Mix. I don't know if you ever tried it, but it was Chex Mix that featured vanilla sticks and little marshmallows, all coated in cocoa powder.

If my memory is correct, it was released each winter for a while, and when that stuff hit the shelves in Minnesota, I would buy countless bags of it. It was addictive and amazing, and then just like that it was gone.

Since it disappeared, I've looked for answers as to what happened and if others were as bummed as I was, but answers are nowhere to be found. I'm over it now, well mostly anyway, but the lesson is if you find something you love to eat, stock up and enjoy it because it could suddenly be discontinued.
