With Labor Day just a few days away, I think we can all agree that summer is pretty much over. I know this is a hot topic but the holiday is usually the cutoff for what we consider summer, right?
With a new school year and a new month, it's pretty safe to say fall is near! It definitely has been feeling more 'fall like' over the past few weeks. We even saw temperatures near freezing across our region.

At the time, we all brushed it off as a fluke but it looks like we may have seen the last of the summer season. Don't be mad at the messenger!
A few different weather analysts have weighed in on some cooler temperatures in the forecast - and one even says an arctic blast of sorts is on the way soon. Keep reading for more, if you dare.
National Weather Service Of Duluth Shares Temperature Outlook
First and foremost, the meteorologists at the National Weather Service of Duluth have weighed in, sharing an outlook of some pretty brisk temperatures into the holiday weekend and beyond.

We aren't looking at winter temperatures just yet or really anything lower than the 50s but it will be a vast difference from the warm summer temperatures we've become so accustomed to. It looks like there are some moderate chances of rain as well.
Weather Analyst Forecasts Arctic Blast For Minnesota + Wisconsin
Midwest Weather, a weather analyst with a huge following on social media, shared something a little jarring on Friday (August 29th), reporting that an arctic blast is on the way for Minnesota and a good chunk of Wisconsin. OPE!

The analyst went into detail, writing the following about the expected cold front:
A strong cold front will sweep through the region on Tuesday and Wednesday, sharply dropping temperatures.
You better grab that winter or fall coat because temperatures will be between five and fifteen degrees below our average for this time of the year! At the time of writing, Thursday will be a standout as being the coolest day of this arctic blast. Sigh.
I am really excited for fall! It is my favorite season. However, whenever we transition from summer to fall, it becomes real that winter is not too far away and that is not ideal. Ha!
