Watch Adorable, Mischievous Bear Cub Charge Wildlife Camera In Minnesota

A mama bear and her cub were recently caught on camera in Northern Minnesota. The video allows us to get closer to a bear and her cub than we normally could be.

In case you don't know if you come across a mama bear and her cub in the woods, give them as much space as possible. Mama bears are ferocious protectors of their cubs. You don't ever want to be in the way of them.

So, when the Voyageur Wolf Project shared a YouTube short the other day, we got to see how they behave up close. Voyageur Wolf Project has wildlife cameras set up in Voyageurs National Park to study the wolf population. They capture a lot of other wildlife too.

You can see in the video that mama bears are just like human moms (and dads) who get a little overwhelmed by their rambunctious toddlers. At one point the little cub is jumping up and down trying to get a tree branch when he falls over on his mom and she snaps at him for a brief moment.

After some time frolicking around, the cub then spots the wildlife camera. The cub then charges the camera. Look at this little guy jumping towards the camera.

What follows is a series of snorts, breathing, pawing, and ultimately the camera falling into the grass. Voyageur's Wolf Project says they have a lot of animals that do notice the cameras. One time a moose came up and gave the camera nose boops. By far the most damaging animal to the cameras though is bears. But hey, we're in their space, right?
