One Of Busiest Kwik Trips In Twin Ports Area Is Expanding

I swear that every time I go to this Kwik Trip it is packed! It's got to be one of the busiest Kwik Trips in the Northland. I've reached out to Kwik Trip before to ask what their biggest stores are in terms of volume, but they politely refused to give that information.

Still, it would make sense for them to expand the Kwik Trip in East Superior. It's located at 2128 East 2nd Street, right next to Culvers.

This Kwik Trip gets a lot of traffic from people heading to Northwest Wisconsin and Highway 53/2. While just about every Kwik Trip has a steady business, this one always is busy, and the expansion will be able to serve customers even better.

I noticed the construction earlier this week when I stopped at the Super One foods. That's located across the street. It looks like a very similar floor plan to the Kwik Trip on Banks Avenue. They built out the cooler section and kitchen and it turned out really nice.

Do you remember which location was the first Kwik Trip in the Twin Ports? I remember it being a big deal when they showed up, and they have flourished since, with rumors even of expanding further into Northern Minnesota.

The first Kwik Trip in the Twin Ports was the small one that is at 2807 Tower Avenue. When that store opened it set an opening day record for the time.
