Big $150,000 Powerball Win Monday In A Small Wisconsin Town
Powerball is once again generating a lot of buzz throughout the country as the jackpot continues to grow to a staggering number. However, even if the jackpot isn't won whenever there's a drawing, that doesn't mean big wins aren't happening.
Going into the drawing on Monday, August 25, the Powerball jackpot had grown to an estimated $750 million. Although nobody won the grand prize, someone in the Wisconsin area did score a big $150,000 win while coming within one number of a life-changing jackpot.
The winning Powerball numbers on August 25 were: 16,19, 34, 37, and 64. The Powerball was 22 and Power Play 3x.
To win $150,000, the winner would've matched 4 out of 5 white numbers while also matching the Powerball number, and adding the multiplier option to their winning ticket, and that's just what happened in a small town in Wisconsin.

$150,000 Winning Powerball Ticket Purchased In Wisconsin
According to the Wisconsin Lottery, the winning ticket was purchased at the BP located at 600 Bridge Street in Cornell, Wisconsin. Cornell is located in Chippewa County with a population of 1,395 and a surface area of 4.37 square miles.
Hopefully, the winner has their ticket and checks the winning numbers so they can claim their cash.
Since nobody won the $750 million Powerball Grand Prize on August 25, the next Powerball jackpot has currently grown to $815 million, a number that is likely to increase based on the number of ticket sales.
We are getting very close to a $1 billion jackpot, and there have been only 5 jackpots in the history of Powerball that have reached that milestone. The estimated jackpot for August 27 is the 7th biggest Powerball jackpot ever.
