
Fight Leads to Shooting Death of 24-Year-Old Man in Bloomington

Bloomington, MN (KROC-AM News)- Authorities in the Twin Cities are looking for multiple people connected to a deadly shooting over the weekend.

A news release issued by the Bloomington Police Department says officers responded to the report of gunfire around 6:45 Sunday morning.
Responding officers found multiple people at the scene rendering aid to the gunshot victim.

24-Year-Old Man Dies at Scene of Shooting in Bloomington, MN, Investigators Identify Persons of Interest
The shooting occurred at a home in the 200 block of 92nd St. West in Bloomington. The man being given aid had suffered multiple gunshot injuries, the news release says.
Officers learned a fight involving the victim and multiple other males occurred in the home’s driveway while they were all sitting together.
One of the males involved in the altercation grabbed a gun and shot the victim multiple times shortly after the fight began, police say. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
Authorities believe him to be a 24-year-old man from Bloomington. His name has not yet been released.
Police say the suspected shooter and two other males fled the scene. The news release says investigators have identified multiple people of interest.
A description of the persons is not available. The Bloomington Police Department and Hennepin County Medical Examiner's Office are investigating the deadly shooting.
