
Minnesota Couple Airlifted After Hog Barn Rescue Are Now Recovering at Home
Hazel Run, MN (KROC-AM News)- Two Minnesotans are now recovering after being rescued from a hog barn during bitter cold temperatures over the weekend.

The man and woman were unresponsive when first responders arrived at the scene.
A news release issued by the Yellow Medicine County Sheriff’s Office says the couple had to be airlifted to the Twin Cities.

Rural Minnesota Couple Airlifted After Being Found Unresponsive in Hog Barn Released from Hospital
Emergency responders were dispatched to the report of two individuals being down unresponsive in a hog barn around 5:15 p.m. Saturday. The call came from a rural property about 25 miles north of Marshall.
Responding deputies found the 911 caller extracting the man and woman from the barn. Law enforcement gave them life-saving care before EMS arrived and the two were eventually flown to Minneapolis.
An update on the incident released on Tuesday says the couple, identified as 32-year-old Luke Stevens and 30-year-old Melissa Stevens, were released from the hospital and are now recovering at their rural Hazel Run, MN home.
Authorities say the couple was cleaning out the hog barn when they lost consciousness. No other information about the incident has been released.
