Superior, WI (KROC-AM News)- Authorities in western Wisconsin say they have recovered the body of a Minnesota woman in a state park. 

The woman was reported missing on Wednesday. A news release issued by the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office says deputies located her car shortly after receiving the missing person report.

Authorities found the woman’s car at Pattison Park, which is about 20 miles south of Duluth.

Members from the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office, St. Louis County Sheriff’s Office, Wisconsin DNR and numerous volunteer fire departments in northwestern Wisconsin conducted what is described as an extensive, multi-day search and found the woman’s body Saturday morning.

The news release does not name the woman, however the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office told WDIO-TV that the woman has been identified as 65-year-old Kim Creager from Washington County. 

Officials say foul play is not suspected.
