
Crash Between Two Pick-Ups Send 5 to Hospital in Southern Minnesota
The preliminary crash investigation indicates the driver of a 2004 pick-up, traveling east on County Rd. 4, failed to stop at the intersection and collided with a 2014 pick-up that was heading north on County Rd. 6.
Lamberton, MN (KROC-AM News)- Five people were hurt after a collision at a rural southern Minnesota intersection.

The Redwood County Sheriff’s Office says one of the two vehicles involved ran a stop sign shortly before 10:30 Monday morning.
Both of the vehicles involved in the crash were pick-up trucks.

5 Hospitalized After Pick-Up Truck Runs Stop Sign at Rural Southern Minnesota Intersection
First responders were called to the crash at the intersection Redwood County Roads 4 and 6, which is about 30 miles southeast of Marshall.
The preliminary crash investigation indicates the driver of a 2004 pick-up, traveling east on County Rd. 4, failed to stop at the intersection and collided with a 2014 pick-up that was heading north on County Rd. 6.
63-year-old Jeffrey Magdik of Centerville, MN was identified as the 2004 pick-up driver. He was alone in his vehicle.

26-year-old Thalia Calderon Rodriguez of Sioux City, NE was driving the northbound pick-up and had three passengers in the 2014 pick-up. Their names have not been released.
Authorities say all five occupants suffered non-life-threatening injuries and were taken to a hospital for further care. The Redwood County Sheriff’s Office says the crash remains under investigation.
