
Young Inmate Found Dead at Minnesota Jail
Elk River, MN (KROC-AM News)- An inmate was found dead at a Minnesota jail Tuesday morning.

A news release issued by the Anoka County Sheriff’s Office on Wednesday says the young woman’s death is under investigation.
She was found unresponsive in her cell shortly after 6:00 Tuesday morning.

23-Year-Old Inmate Pronounced Dead After Being Found Unresponsive in Her Cell at Sherburne County Jail in Elk River, MN
The news release says deputies responded to the inmate death report at the Sherburne County Jail in Elk River.
After finding her unresponsive in her cell, staff and an Elk River Ambulance crew administered life-saving measures, but the woman was pronounced dead at the scene.
She has been identified as 23-year-old Tyrah Shawnice Davis of Little Canada.
The Anoka County Sheriff’s Office and Midwest Medical Examiner's Office are investigating the young woman’s death.
No additional information was available for release as of Wednesday afternoon.
