Intense Murder Mystery Movie Being Filmed in Minnesota
In recent years, Minnesota has become increasingly popular among filmmakers. Many production companies have chosen this state as the backdrop for their projects. Back in September, we shared news about the filming of a thriller named "Nana's Here" in Duluth.
Duluth has been a popular location for movie shoots lately, with productions like the Christmas film "Merry Kiss Cam" and Christina Milian's "Body Language" but it's not just the Northland region attracting filmmakers. A few years ago, scenes for "The Last Love Letter" were filmed in Northfield, a movie featuring Joe Keery from "Stranger Things" was shot near Jordan, and now another movie is being filmed here in our state.
Adam Bartley is a Minnesota native and actor best known for his work on the television show "Longmire" says he's excited to be filming in his hometown.

Murder Mystery Movie Being Filmed in Minnesota
Bartley said filming started on Monday at Keenan's Bar and Grill on West 7th St. in St. Paul and is expected to take around four weeks. The movie called "Unholy Communion" is based on a book written by Thomas Rumreich.
The Pioneer Press spoke with Rumreich earlier this week who explained: “Unholy Communion” follows a Washington County investigator who is tracking a serial killer preying on priests.
The book is based on Rumreich's personal experience of being sexually abused while he was attending St. John’s University.
