The Minnesota State Fair runs through September 2nd and attracts 2 million people each year. They come for the agricultural exhibits, animals, music, entertainment, attractions, rides, and, of course, tons of delicious food!
Fair food is a huge business, with top vendors making big money during the 12 days of the event. Below, you'll find a list of the vendors that make the most cash.
When it comes to food, there are over 500 different things to eat at the Minnesota State Fair, including dozens of items on a stick. Each year, new foods and drinks are added to the menu.
Everything on a Stick: A must-try for every Minnesotan is the classic Pronto Pup, but you can also find unique options like steak dinner on a stick and even spaghetti and meatballs on a stick.
2024’s New Foods: Vendors are always on the lookout for the next big hit, so you’ll find plenty of new items each year. This year, keep an eye out for the Deep Fried Ranch Dressing, Afro Poppers, and Dill Pickle Tots. Check out all the new foods at the bottom of this story.

The Highest-Earning Food Vendors Now at the Minnesota State Fair
Sweet Martha's Cookie Jar (3 locations) is the top vendor at the Minnesota State Fair each year. The fresh-baked chocolate chip cookies come in buckets and are delicious.

Sweet Martha reported $4.5 million in sales during the 2022 fair, more than double what the next highest-earning vendor made.

The American Dairy Association of the Midwest and Corn Roast also makes more than $1 million at the fair.
