An event on the sun August 28th could cause some colorful skies over the weekend.

According to SpaceWeatherLive on Twitter a northern hemisphere coronal hole was facing earth on the 28th and being that it takes about 3 days for that to reach us, we can expect to see some northern lights tonight and tomorrow night.

The best time to see them is after 11 PM if you want a good chance at seeing them, head out of the city to escape the lights.
