Is this the wave of the future for businesses, calling out customers by name on a social media who display rude behavior?

The next time you decide to be a no show at your favorite dining establishment you may want to think twice about it. According to  Consumerist one L.A. restaurant has had enough, and actually posted the names of a number of people on their twitter page, that never showed up for their reservation.

The manager had a valid point in that it throws everything off, from being under-booked, to others having to change reservation times and also many people having to wait to be seated. Consumers are being held more and more accountable for cancelling and at times even charged like with dentist and doctors offices.

The bottom line is common courtesy, or who knows you may be called out on Twitter or Facebook.
