Minnesota Named Best State To Raise A Family In America

Last year Minnesota came in as the second best state to raise a family in America, and this year they took the top spot.

Wallethub.com is back with another ranking of states. This time around their data team used 49 key indicators of family-friendliness across all 50 states.The data ranges from median family salary to housing affordability to unemployment rate.

Minnesota comes in as number 1 with a total score of 65.32. The land of 10,000 lakes came in at 13th for family fun, 4th for health and safety, 8th for education and child care, affordability came in at 8th and last, but certainly not least was socioeconomics at 3rd.

Wisconsin sneaked in at the number 7 spot with a 59.29, and 5th in affordability.
