A YouTube prank that went horribly wrong has now lead a Minnesota woman to plead guilty to second-degree manslaughter.

20-year-old Monalisa Perez has pleaded guilty to second-degree manslaughter after shooting her boyfriend in the chest last summer in Halstad, MN. Perez shot her boyfriend, Pedro Ruiz III, in the chest during a stunt that planned to go up on YouTube. Ruiz was holding up a book to his chest and Perez shot the book with the "stunt" being that the book would stop the bullet. Sadly that was not the case and Ruiz was declared dead after emergency workers attempted to save his life.

According to the Duluth News Tribune, Perez has a plea agreement that would have her serve 180 days in jail and 10 years of supervised probation. The judge has the final say on what the sentence will be though.
