Back by popular demand the Northshore Inline Marathon has teamed up with Bent Paddle Brewing for a fun night of skating and a cold brew. It is called 'Skate and Sip' and is a free bi-weekly group inline skate session that is open to the public, for inline skaters and roller skaters.

The first group skate session is  Tuesday, June 5 at 6pm at the Bent Paddle Taproom in Duluth (1832 W Michigan St), where people skate for about an hour then stop in for a free Bent Paddle beer.

'Skate & Sip' is held every other Tuesday starting at 6pm through the summer leading up to the 23rd Annual NorthShore Inline Marathon on September 15. Northshore Inline Marathon Director Mike Ward said that last year they had an awesome showing of skaters from all levels. Some of the participants had never skated before all the way to elite skaters and even the Harbor City Roller Dames roller derby team.
