Tipping is a slippery slope at times, from how much to tip percentage wise, and for good or bad service. Well in the future you may not have to worry about it at all.

Some restaurants around the country are  bucking the trend and paying the employees a higher salary and even benefits. I have always been a good tipper because I appreciate what a hard job that would be, and I know I could never do it.

Not only would I not have the patience for some of the customers....check out the movie 'WAITING" but I also have a horrible short term memory, and would never get anybody's orders right. So for now keep in mind that your server depends on those tips and be generous, because it will most likely be a long time coming before this is commonplace.
