Superior Police Report There Was No Attempted Abduction

Yesterday reports came out regarding a possible abduction of 9 year-old girl from Great Lakes Elementary School in Superior.

According to WDIO, The Superior Police have determined there was no abduction attempt. Police Captain Thomas Champaigne said "The girl had deviated from her normal path on her home from school.

A scary situation for any parent, I'm glad she got home safely. I remember giving my parents a similar scare when I was 4 years old. I told my parents I was going to the park (a half block down from my house) and instead I got lost in the woods near my house with a friend. We finally returned home late at night and I will never forget the scared and panicked look on my parents faces as they were waiting outside for me with police out searching for me as well.
