A national act and local favorite, Trampled By Turtles, has agreed to headline a second day of the Twin Ports Bridge Festival at Bayfront Festival Park on July 8, allowing the entire weekend to become a fundraiser for community members around the Twin Ports who have been affected by the flood.

Tonight is the big night! We first met Solomon Witherspoon and Russ King months ago, we had them in the studio for the first time when they were opening up for Doomtree at Clyde Iron Works in January.  Then they came into the studio again when they opened for Three 6 Mafia...

Jeanne and I had the pleasure of welcoming 1017's Solomon Witherspoon and Russ King in the studio on March 10th.  They opened for Three 6 Mafia at Clyde Iron Works that night.  I really can't get over how great Russ is on his monster keyboard, and Solomon, well, he rocked out a new jingle for Jeanne and me.  I saw the show that night, and it was amazing.
