The folks at Lake Superior State University in Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan have released their annual list of banished words from the year that was. The school has made a tradition of creating a list of tired words, with this being the 40th such list from LSSU.

As 2014 comes to a close, we decided to take a look back at the year that was. It was certainly an interesting year for us here in the Twin Ports. From extreme weather to celebrity visitors and crazy-awesome videos, we put together a list of the top 10 most visited, liked, and shared local stories from our website...

We all do it, but some of us make more of a spectacle of ourselves than others....singing or saying the wrong lyrics to songs.
