That actor is Christian Bale, and for his latest experiment in testing the boundaries of good health, he’s morphed his oft-chiseled physique into a squishy human-shaped cushion to portray former Vice President Dick Cheney.

Since Snyder’s film effectively reboots Batman, Bale reprising his role as the caped crusader was never really plausible — but the director did consider giving Bale a different role in the film.

Just when you thought that the upcoming Steve Jobs biopic couldn't get more interesting, Oscar-winning actor (and former Batman) Christian Bale gets thrown into the mix as the top choice to play the iconic tech genius. This movie doesn't even have a title and it already has our attention.

When 'The Dark Knight Rises' came out -- even though the film left the door open for a spin-off or sequel  -- Christian Bale was consistent in saying that he would only come back if Christopher Nolan was at the helm. And though Warner Brothers is trying to get 'Justice League' going and would love to have him back, Bale has just said he will not be returning to play Batman.
