The Chippewa County Sheriff's Office today released the name of the victim.

The State Patrol says the crash occurred when the elderly driver of an SUV crossed over the center line.

The State Patrol says the young crash victim was not restrained by a seatbelt or safety seat when the deadly incident occurred on Saturday.

The deadly collision involved a semi-truck and 2 SUVs.

The vehicles were traveling in opposite directions when they collided.

The State Patrol says the victim was seatbelted and alcohol was not involved.

Surveillance videos showed that she nearly caused another crash just before the deadly collision.

Has also been ordered to pay more than $22,000 in restitution.

Prosecutors say the results of blood-alcohol-concentration tests are still pending.

A Farmington woman suffered life-threatening injuries in the collision with a law-enforcement vehicle earlier this week.
