London Road

For those of you that drive in London Road quite frequently, we now know what is being built, Townhomes.

Our news partners at WDIO are reporting that the Duluth Police Department has closed off a portion of London Road due to a reported incident involving a pedestrian being hit by a vehicle.

This was the scene on London Road at 26th Avenue East this morning in Duluth. A logging truck turning off Interstate 35 onto London Road lost much of its load of logs around 9:00 am Tuesday (December 18), leading to some minor damage and a mess of logs hampering traffic.

Lane restrictions have been postponed and may not be required for this project. All lanes will remain open on Highway 61/London Road near Lester River Bridge until further notice.

One of Duluth's busiest roads will be closed starting Wednesday, August 8th through late August 2012.  According to the Minnesota Department of Transportation Southbound Highway 61 and London Road will close for flood-related culvert and road repairs.
