After releasing a short cryptic video yesterday and a countdown timer on their website, Duluth's own 'Trampled by Turtles' have now announced that they will be hitting the road once again this summer.

The Minnesota Twins have announced plans for the Twins Midwest Music Showcase, a series of eight live music events during Twins games at Target Field. Every Wednesday home game from May through August, local bands will perform original songs live from the left field balcony during pregame, inning breaks and pitching changes.
Team Coco (Conan O'Brien) has premiered the latest Trampled by Turtles video. From their Stars and Satellites album, the video for "Midnight on the Interstate" was created by students at the Bethany Lutheran College Media Arts department in Mankato, MN.
Duluth's own Trampled by Turtles will make a trip back home this summer for a concert at Bayfront Festival Park. Earlier this month they played at the DECC's Symphony Hall as part of their 10th anniversary tour, and they'll be at Clyde next week for Homegrown.

In April, Duluth's Trampled by Turtles made their debut on network television with an appearance on the Late Show with David Letterman. Not long after in July, they performed on the Late Late show with Craig Ferguson. Now we can add a performance on Adult Swim's "Squidbillies" where we see Trampled by Turtles (first mistaken as 38 Special) perform "Walt Whitman."
Less than two weeks ago, Duluth favorite Trampled By Turtles played at Bayfront Festival Park during Twin Ports Bridge Festival. They headlined the second day of the festival--a day added to raise money for the United Way's Long Term Flood Relief Fund.
