VGX is Spike TV's next generation of video game awards. To be honest I could care less about who wins what award.
However, the one thing I always try to see is what is coming out within the next year.
The video games awards shows often have new premieres or more extensive videos on upcoming games.
Here are a few from this weekends VGX Awards on Spike TV.
Last night at midnight the Xbox One was released. Release parties were held throughout the United States.

Katy Perry loves ‘The Sims,’ the video game series in which users create their own characters and help them lead simulated lives. Perry and Electronic Arts announced a partnership today in which the singer will appear in multiple ‘Sims’ games, starting with ‘The Sims 3: Showtime – Collector’s Edition’ in March.
