Clean out your closet now while you support Sneakers4Funds!  It is in full swing now through August 3 and there are lots of convenient drop off locations in the Northland and on marathon weekend.

The Young Athletes Foundation has a great event going on this Saturday January 9th for kids 14 and under and it's Free!

It was a cold morning, and there was plenty of fresh snowfall, but the Fitger's 5K still went on strong, and with a course record broken in the process.

Despite the fact that Duluth broke the old record set in 1950 (31.6 inches of snow) for April snowfall the show (show meaning the Fitger's 5k) must go on! Even with the new record amount of snow, the annual 5k through downtown is continuing.

If you've promised yourself you'd get into shape in 2013--here's the perfect race for you!  Registration is open for 2013's Fitger's 5K on April 20th.  Plenty of time to hit the gym and train to run or walk the 3.1 mile race.  Or maybe you like to have a few races under your belt before Grandma's Marathon in June.  Sign up now, because registration for this popular race fills up fast!

Registration is now open for the 2013 Fitger’s 5K Run & Walk, scheduled for Saturday, April 20.  The Fitger’s 5K field is limited to the first 1,800 entrants – a registration cap that was reached one month prior to the 2012 race.
