The Animal Allies Pet Of The Week is a beautiful young cat, named Phyllis guessed to be about 1 year old who was found as a stray in Duluth. In talking with Daryl from Animal Allies he said that she seems so grateful to have food and shelter and is really social. Phyllis is a white and orange tabby Domestic Short Hair.

According to Animal Allies she is quite the dainty and loving lady who is looking for her new cuddle partner! She adores sitting on a comfy lap, and exploring around fun new spaces! Also she would love a home with lots of time for you to play with her and give her chin scratches.

Our Adoption Center is closed to the public but we will continue to provide essential services to support animals in need, including:

Stray Services; from our contracted jurisdictions (Rice Lake, Proctor, Hermantown and Southern St. Louis County) and transfers from City of Duluth Animal Control.

Intake & Surrender Services; are available for emergency surrenders by appointment only. All appointments must be approved by our Intake Specialist or Adoption Manager.

Pets in Our Shelter; Care and medical treatment for animals in our shelters

Adoptions by appointment only; Please visit our website to see our available animals and call to learn about our non-contact adoption process. Adoption appointments can be scheduled by calling 218-722-5341. We will start answering phones and taking holds at 10:30am, if you are extremely interested in one specific animal please call early and often.
