The start of the winter season may have pushed thoughts about the Twin Ports Interchange Project - the planned changes to the Can of Worms intersection - into the background.  However, the project is set to commence early in the spring of 2020 - and that will be here before you know it.  In order to get the general public ready for the detours, lane closures, and impacts to traffic, officials with the Minnesota Department of Transportation have scheduled informational meetings to disseminate information and solicit feedback.  The next of those meetings has been scheduled to occur on Monday, November 25.

The meetings will happen in two different sessions - both happening at Clyde Iron Works.  The first of those will start at 11:30 AM (with a presentation at 11:45 AM) and the second will happen at 6:00 PM (with the presentation at 6:15 PM).  MNDOT will have their 3-D model of the intersection at each of the sessions for people to take a look at so that they can get a feel for what will occur during the work.
