311 and The Dirty Heads Coming To Duluth’s Bayfront
This summer is looking promising as two alternative rock bands, 311 and the Dirty Heads will be playing at Bayfront in Duluth this July.
311 is a mixture of alternative rock and reggae out of Ohama, Nebraska. They were formed back in 1988 and have released 12 studio albums since then. Band members include Nick Hexum (lead vocals, keyboard, guitar), SA Martinez (vocals and turntables), Tim Mahoney (lead guitarist), P-nut (bass), and Chad Sexton (drums).\
Some of 311's hits include "Amber", "Down", "All Mixed Up" a rendition of The Cure;s "Love Song" a new album many more.
The Dirty Heads are pretty similar with a mix of alternative rock, reggae, and hip-hop from Hunting Beach, California. The band formed in 2006 and includes Dirty J (co-lead vocals), Duddy B (co-lead vocals, guitar), Jon Olazabal (percussion), Matt Ochoa (drums), David Floral (bass), and Shawn Hagood (keyboard, vocals).
