A Band from St. Paul Will Open for Bon Jovi at the XCel Energy Center

Bon Jovi will be rocking the stage at XCel Energy Center on Monday March 27th for their "This House is Not For Sale Tour" and thanks to a contest from the band, some guys from St. Paul will get the chance to open for them the night of the show.

Congratulations to the band Step Rockets who beat out hundreds of other bands from all over the region to win the chance to perform live on stage as the opening act for Bon Jovi. According to a Press Release this is the third time Bon Jovi has held a contest like this to give local bands a shot at stardom by opening for the band in their city.
