A Walmart In St. Cloud Has To Lock Up Men's Socks And Underwear

According to Bring Me The News a picture is circulating that shows mens underwear and socks in a locked glass case in a Walmart in St. Cloud (Click Here) to see the picture which has gone viral on Facebook and has been shared more than 1,600 times! In case you happen to be in the St. Cloud area and want to see this for yourself this Walmart is located at 3601 2nd. St. South.

Walmart Headquarters said in a statement to Bring Me The News "Some products are subject to additional security. Those determinations are made on a store-by-store basis. Walmart will continue to explore additional ways to protect its merchandise, keep prices low and keep product in stock for the millions of customers it serves each week."

Apparently Walmart has a certain threshold for items that are shoplifted and once those items reach that number they will take whatever means necessary to protect that product. And so apparently at this Walmart in St. Cloud the socks and underwear needed to be protected and they have been locked up for the last 3 months.

So we are still left with the fact that nobody knows why these items are so popular to steal, yes we all like having nice new socks and underwear but when you resort to to stealing the stuff on the regular, something is not right.
