Duluth Haunted Ship Extends ‘Not So Haunted Ship’ Tours To More Dates This Fall
The Duluth Haunted Ship's 31st season kicks off on Friday, October 2 in Canal Park, with some exciting new things in store for this year.
Along with a new post-tour bar & food truck area and a spooky mystery to solve as part of the 2026 Duluth Haunted Ship experience, another new addition this year has a lot of people excited.
For many years, people have been asking if there was a "less-scary" Haunted Ship tour option available. For the first 30 years, the answer has been "no". This year, organizers came up with a way to offer an option for those who want to see the spookiness of the ship without some of the biggest scares.
The new addition of what organizers are calling the "Not-So Haunted Ship" will provide daytime tours of the decorated ship, with all of the same sets, props, animated displays, and other decor used during the normal Haunted Ship, but without the actors and darkness that ratchet up the intensity of the scares.

While there will be additional lighting and a lack of jump-scares from the actors, organizers say this will still be a spooky experience, with all of the decor still creating an eerie ambiance of its own.
Initially, the plan was to just offer these "Not-So Haunted Ship" tours from 1 pm until 3 pm the first two Saturdays of October. As ticket sales got underway and tickets for these daytime tours proved to be pretty popular, organizers have decided to extend these daytime tours to more dates.
Now, the "Not-So Haunted Ship" tours will be offered every Saturday afternoon from 1 pm until 3 pm through the Haunted Ship season. After these tours, the lights go our and the actors show up to crank up the intensity for nighttime tours.
Whether you want tickets to the daytime tours, nighttime tours, regular or VIP tickets, fast passes, or more, all of the various ticket options are available through the Duluth Haunted Ship website.
