The 2026 Minnesota State Fair entertainment lineup is continuing to take shape, with fair organizers adding another show to the roster of Grandstand performers for this year.

This week, the fair announced pop stars AJR will be joining a list of performers playing at the 2026 Minnesota State Fair that also includes Weird Al, Bonnie Raitt, Brad Paisley, and a show that includes TLC, Salt-N-Pepa, and En Vogue.

AJR is the first modern pop act announced for the 2026 fair, best known for songs like "Way Less Sad", "Burn the House Down", and their biggest hit "Bang!".

AJR will be joined by opening acts Avery Cochrane and Quinn XCII, offering a unique blend of pop and alternative music to start the evening of entertainment at the fair.

This show is scheduled for Wednesday, September 2, with music getting underway at 7 pm.

Tickets for this show go on sale on Friday, April 17, at 10 am via the Minnesota State Fair website, ranging from $49.50 - $92.75 for reserved seating and $93.50 - $105.75 for the party deck.

Interestingly enough, AJR will also be at the Wisconsin State Fair this year, making an appearance at the Badger State's fair on Saturday, August 15. Superfans have two chances to enjoy a fresh Pronto Pup and some AJR just a few weeks apart if they want to.
