America’s Monsters, Superheroes, and Villains Exhibit Coming to the Duluth Depot
If you love everything Superheros and Monsters, you're going to have to check out this new exhibit coming to The Depot.
'America’s Monsters, Superheroes, and Villains: Our Culture at Play' will be on exhibit March 2nd through April 8th, it features over 300 vintage toys and artifacts from the vaults of Minnesota collector David Barnhill.
According to The Depot, "Children and adults love to be safely scared by werewolves, vampires, the Frankenstein Monster, and other misshapen creatures of the night. This stunning array of toys, advertising designs and packaging will bring monsters, heroes and antiheroes from America’s Golden Era to life. Designers and artists such as James Bama and Todd McFarlane and toys from Mattel, Hasbro, Aurora, Marx, MPC, Minnesota-based Lakeside Toys and others are represented in the exhibition. Informative panels will walk viewers through the historical context and advances in materials, manufacturing and design."
The exhibit will kick off with a party on March 2nd from 4:30 - 6:30 and attendees are encouraged to dress up in costume!
