Anne Hathaway Cast as Catwoman
There have been rumors for a while now about Catwoman being a character in the new Batman movie. It is confirmed now and we know who will play the Purrrfect villian, Anne Hathaway.
I like the decision and look forward to seeing Anne in the Catwoman outfit, meow. We'll have to wait a while though, "The Dark Knight Rises" doesn't come out until July 20, 2012.
Look no further! Christopher Nolan has chosen Anne Hathaway to play Selina Kyle, aka Catwoman, in The Dark Knight Rises!
According to Deadline, Anne has been trying to get the role since last November alongside Keira Knightley, Rachel Weisz, Naomi Watts, Blake Lively and Natalie Portman.
In previous Batman films the role has been played by Michelle Pfeiffer and Halle Berry.
