Anonymous Man Pays Lunch Debt at Piedmont for Mom’s Day Gift
WDIO shared a great story about an anonymous man that came to Piedmont Elementary and paid some lunch debt as a Mother's Day gift to his wife.
Principal Beth Shermoen told WDIO that a man came into the school a couple of weeks prior to the gift and inquired about the total amount for unpaid food accounts for breakfast and lunch at the school. The amount came to $2,209.
According to the Principal, the man returned later with his daughter gave the school a check for $2,209. How awesome!
"It was really an emotional time because you could just really see the giving heart that this gentleman had because it's something that his wife actually asked for Mother's Day," the Principal told WDIO.
