Beijing Restaurant To Open In April

The wait is almost over for Duluthians who have been waiting since 2013 to eat here again. The restaurant is set to open in  April.

Beijing used to be in the Plaza Strip Mall out in east Duluth but closed down in 2013. Owners Cindy Lee and Chang Wang bought the old Pizza Hut location on London Road and was hoping to open last year, but had many setbacks.

There is no official opening date, but Lee and Wang expect to be open early April. The new kitchen has been installed (which was apart of the setback), most of the staff have been hired (they even brought back some former cooks), the interior is redesigned and ready to go and Lee even paid to keep Beijing’s old telephone number from being reassigned so she could use it again.
