Black Water Lounge To Temporarily Close After New Year’s Eve

Dubbed as the best martini bar in Duluth, Black Water Lounge located in Downtown Duluth will close its doors for a temporary time after New Year's Eve.

Black Water decided to close due to preparation for the road construction on Superior Street next summer. There is no specific date on when exactly the martini lounge will reopen, but their last day open will be New Year's Eve of this year.

According to DNT, staff was informed this past Tuesday and will be sent to Tavern On The Hill and Black Woods while the lounge is temporarily closed. Not only does the lounge have amazing martinis like my favorite the 5th Amendment, they also have wonderful foods like sushi and flatbread pizzas. Anyone with gift cards and party certificates can still use them at other locations owned by the Black Woods Group which are Black Woods Bar & Grill (Proctor and London Road locations) and Tavern on the Hill.
