A short-term sanitary sewer project on Canal Park Drive gets underway on Tuesday, April 28.  According to the City of Duluth, work crews will be installing a cured in-place pipe (PIPP) liner to restore the effectiveness of the existing pipe.

While the new CIPP liner is installed in place by using a trenchless method - requiring only limited excavation, there will be some inconvenience caused around existing the access points at existing manholes.  At this point, no traffic delays or detours are expected.

According to the timeline issued by the City of Duluth, work at the Canal Park Drive site is expected to be wrapped up by May 31. Complete details about the project can be found on the city's website.
